This is my second YnM weighted blanket, the first one got destroyed by my cats over the course of 2 or 3 years, so I'd say the brand is pretty durable. I'd suggest that if you sweat easily, you should get one suited for cooling because this thing makes me wake up sweaty in the middle of winter. Perfect for if you prefer warmth, though.
My body very easily adjusted to the weight and although carrying it around and folding it is still difficult, it feels kind of light when I'm under it.
I would suggest getting a duvet cover for it because it's so heavy. It could easily break your washing machine and it'll wear out faster with more washes. I made the mistake of not using a duvet cover with my first one but it still lasted about 2 years with cats constantly kneading on it too.
It’s certainly a soft weighted blanket, but the claim that it is breathable or useable in all four seasons is garbage. This blanket doesn’t breathe at all and creates quite the oven. I plan to try it again in the colder months but in my opinion it isn’t useful during warmer months.
very nice quality
After about five nights of acclimation to the 25 lb. 60x80 weighted blanket, I am already finding that I am sleeping better. I am heavy, so I chose the 25 lb. version after confirming that it would fit into my twin size IKEA duvet covers. I sleep on a full bed, and have been sleeping European style...directly under a twin duvet in a cover, for a number of years.
The 25 lb. blanket is very heavy to carry as a folded blanket. However, I was able to put it into one of my duvet covers with relative ease, using the California Roll technique you can see on YouTube.
60 x 80 fits on my full bed without hanging over the edge. Because it is so heavy, I have learned to kind of roll it back rather than throw it back the way you would do with a typical duvet. I roll it back to get into bed, and then roll it up over myself after I get in.
Despite its weight, I find I am able to change positions. I am a side sleeper, so I roll from side to side over the course of the night. I am glad to find that the weight of the blanket does not wake me up when I change positions. I was worried that my feet might feel trapped, but that has not been the case.
I do find, because my IKEA duvet covers do not have internal ties, that the blanket tends to migrate down within the duvet cover. This is easily overcome by rolling the whole thing up, moving it to the other end of the bed, and then unrolling it again to swap head to foot.
We are having typical spring weather right now, and during the time I’ve had it the weather has been cool. The blanket has been warm enough, in great part because the weight of the glass beads makes it conform to the body. I will be interested to find out whether it will be too hot in warmer weather. We shall see!
I can’t yet comment on durability. Because it is so heavy, it’s hard for me to believe I will be able to machine wash it. However, the quality of the cotton fabric and stitching are very good, and I see no leakage of glass beads. I will update if anything changes.
In closing, I am happy with this purchase. It was a good value, and is helping me sleep better.
Works for my feet pain.
I love this weighted blanket. and the fact that it comes with a separate cover for washing to keep it clean. The zipper isn't as sturdy as I'd like, but it doesn't get used that often so hopefully it will last a long time. Took me a little bit to figure out how to get the blanket inside the cover the first time. The weight is perfect for me - I'm 132 lbs and it feels sooo cozy and helps me sleep better.
Good quality weighted blanket. My grandma helped me sew a cover for it so I have not had to wash the blanket itself. The weights stay well distributed during use.
The blanket has come and thus far I have only used it once. It is weighted, which is part of the reason I ordered it. I have never used a weighted blanket. The one time I used it, I still very warm. It is supposed to be a cooling blanket. Not sure that it was all that cooling. Hope as I use it more that all will be better.
The best way I can describe weighted blankets for those who have never had one before is that it's like a grandmother's old quilt that's heavy from years of use and multiple retucking of cotton. So, if you miss that feeling, this is a good blanket to rekindle that for you.
It arrived in a suitable-sized, box. But be warned: if you get the 20-pound one like I did, it will be HEAVY because it's folded up onto itself. So, it may feel a lot more like 50 pounds trying to pick it up. Use a dolly or get some help if you have back issues.
It came with it's own bag, and had a set of instructions to help identify the type of people it may be good for. I appreciate that it said things like "don't throw it on someone, let them adjust" or signifying how important it was to not cover someone's face with it.
There are glass beads in mine, and the sewing was well put-together. I didn't even really notice the beads when I laid it down on my legs. It felt a lot more like how sand feels at a beach when someone piles it on top of you.
I sleep with a comforter all year around. So, it's heavy enough that it completely covers me, but not so heavy and large that it covered my partner (I got the queen-sized, but it only fills up half the bed, which is what I wanted).
The first night, I slept soundly. I did't even move around as much as I normally do. I have a Purple second generation mattress with 2" of the Purple material, so I expected to hopefully not be hot at all. Luckily, I didn't feel hot or sweaty as I would expect, and the air seemed to flow fine underneath the blanket. There is minimal body heat, but I've had other blankets that make it feel like a sauna. This one (the cotton kind) did not.
Overall, I noticed some improvement in my leg circulation (a definite plus) and I slept more soundly. Would recommend it to friends and colleagues. Since I sleep with a comforter, I just placed mine underneath it and on the top sheet. But, if you want a cover, there is one for this blanket if you choose to sleep with it, alone.
Perfect
I love this weighted blanket. I sleep better than ever with very little tossing and turning. The material is soft (though I will be getting a cover for it), weighted yet not too heavy, durable and breathable. The color was spot on. I can't imagine sleeping without it.
Absolutely amazing. I have suffered plantar flasiitis for years. I have spent numerous hundreds of dollars on physical. Therapy braces, massage therapy. This is the only product that has gave me satisfaction every night when I come home. I take off my work shoes. I run this massage as soon as I get home? That was the beginning of the end. I wake up, I virtually have no pain in the mornings until buying this product. I was in constant pain on the daily basis. I highly recommend this massager. If you're suffering plantar flashitis, it's scary, it's much more affordable than going to a massage therapist once a week. Great value for the money it's easy to use. It has a kneading setting a compression setting and a vibration setting. I choose medium, and it also has heat. I know at $59. I could not believe the satisfaction. I have received with this product I would definitely buy again, a absolur game changer!
The three sensations have different degrees of motion. I find low works best for me. The rolling and compression motion seem to be helping me with my neuropathy which is why I bought it. I use it right before I go to bed to relax my feet and it feels great. The only thing I am disappointed with is that it is electric. I thought it was rechargeable which would make it easier to use. Now I must be near a plug to use it. I found a place to plug it in and I just use it in one place. I would recommend this to people not only for neuropathy problems but just for relaxing your feet at the end of a long day.
I like this blanket a lot. As a hot sleeper, finding the right combination of comfort and temperature regulation was a challenge. I was initially reluctant to try a weighted blanket because I thought it would trap heat, but after reading that the glass beads help dissipate heat, I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, it works well for me! I’ve tried several types of cooling blankets before, and this one seems to do what I was expecting.
The weight distribution is good. The small pockets feel like they distribute the weight well. It's comforting without being overwhelming. The texture is soft, but I did notice it felt slightly scratchy at first. However, after a couple of uses, that issue went away, and now it’s pretty comfortable. Overall, it’s working well for my needs.

Works as intended. A few days after The Snuggles Cuddly Pillow purchase. Weathe got hot so The Snuggles Cooling Silk Cover was put on and low and behold it did the trick to stay cool as it stated. Worthwhile purchase to go with The Snuggles Cuddly Pillow.
